Green Solutions

Our Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program reduces the reliance on pesticides when controlling pests. Now we have expanded on the principles of IPM to create GREEN SOLUTIONS. Green Solutions was inspired by the desire of Peoria Pest Control to leave the least ecological influence while offering a safer, pest free environment to our clients.

Green Solutions uses investigative fact finding inspections to determine conditions that encourage pest habitation. The initial interview with the client is intensive in nature in order to determine issues of importance such as:

• Pest history
• Pesticide concerns
• Threshold of tolerance for pests
• Health issues for inhabitants
• Residing children
• Residing pets
• Visiting children and pets
• Waste management
• Sanitation habits

A survey and graph of your home and grounds will be done in order to determine:

• Waterways and moisture conditions
• Vegetation and mulch presence
• Plumbing or roof leaks
• Location of fruit bearing trees
• Trees and shrubs that contact structures
• Stumps or wood piles near structures
• Structural conditions

These information keys allow us to proceed with preemptive actions such as the use of monitoring traps, light traps, cultural recommendations, and addressing sanitation habits. A plan of action will be determined prior to any necessary pesticide application. Pesticide usage will be done with products that are manufactured with natural ingredients that have little or no impact on the environment.
